Officials in Afghanistan say a roadside blast has killed 15 civilians in the southern part of the country.
Authorities said early Saturday the explosion happened Friday in the Khansheen district of Helmand province.
There has been no claim of responsibility for the bombing. Provincial officials have blamed the attack on the Taliban.
Elsewhere, a powerful explosion hit Saturday outside police headquarters in Kandahar in southern Afghanistan, wounding four police officers and two civilians.
And in Kunduz province in northern Afghanistan, officials say a suicide bomber using a police vehicle wounded five soldiers and several civilians.
