DATIN Linda Tsen delivered her maiden speech in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday, and proved herself as a worthy member of parliament of Batu Sapi in Sabah. Tsen thanked Prime Minister and Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak for his trust in her to be the BN candidate in the Nov 4 by-election.
Speaking during the debate on the Supply Bill at the committee stage, Tsen asked the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry not to marginalise Sabah in programmes related to science and technology and proposed the setting up of a science centre to augment the two existing ones in the peninsula. -- Bernama
